I’ve witnessed firsthand the toll of high-stakes change work since 2010 — from urban transformations in Eurasia and ESG initiatives in Poland to rethinking justice systems in Somalia. Having worked myself in various intense contexts, I’ve felt the exhaustion, isolation, and burnout that threaten even the most dedicated change agents.
